Description
Sedum kamtschaticum var. floriferum ‘Weihenstephaner Gold’
Sedum kamtschaticum var. floriferum ‘Weihenstephaner Gold’ has a lovely creeping habit that will creep across the front of rockeries and hot, sunny borders, as well as spilling out of alpine troughs and containers. The rust-orange seed capsules take the place of the faded flowers, extending the season of appeal well into autumn. It’s not simply the name that makes a statement! The spreading pile of grey-green leaves is covered in sparkling bunches of golden, star-shaped blooms on this semi-evergreen stonecrop. Height: 10cm (4). Spread: 40cm (16).
