Dracocephalum rupestre
A unique-looking perennial which is a relative of Catmint and native to mountain meadows in China where it grows happily in rocky, free-draining conditions. Dracocephalum rupestre is adored for its vibrant blue, tubular blooms which burst into colour upon vertical, unbranched stems above clumps of soft, hairy foliage throughout the summer. This Dragon’s Head creates excellent groundcover for dry borders, rockeries and slopes. Height and Spread: 30cm (12?).
