Acer palmatum ‘Cascade Emerald’
An excellent choice for adding architectural interest, as well as providing striking foliage colour that will transform through the year. The dainty branches of Acer palmatum ?Cascade Emerald? are decorated with fine, deeply dissected leaves which cascade elegantly from a sturdy, erect stem. The new palmate foliage emerges a copper-pink shade in spring, on red/orange stems, before changing to a vibrant green in summer. In autumn, the leaves will create a fiery display when they turn brilliant shades of orange and red, before they fall. This weeping Acer makes an incredible focal point in a sunny to semi-shaded border or large container. Height 1.5m -3m (5-10ft). Spread 1-2.5m (3-8.2ft).
