Agapanthus ‘Fireworks’ is a low-maintenance variety with large, exotic-looking, two-tone flowers that will not fade in color. Upright white buds open to reveal pretty hanging flowers with stunning blue bases and flaring white petal tips that continue to bloom long after other agapanthus have finished, often well into September, providing a full 3 months of striking color. This wonderful African Lily is also tougher than other agapanthus varieties, with evergreen foliage that can withstand winter temperatures as low as -10 degrees Celsius, and as a hardy perennial, it will return year after year, looking bigger and better. Agapanthus ‘Fireworks? will look as good planted in drifts in a border as in pots on the patio, where its contemporary elegance can be appreciated at close range. Agapanthus requires little upkeep, performing well on the poorest of soils and in the confines of a patio pot, where good drainage is provided. Height: 60cm (24). Spread: 50cm (20).
