Alchemilla mollis ‘Thriller’
An invaluable plant for the front of the border with textural foliage and frothing lime-green flowers. Alchemilla mollis ‘Thriller’ is overall a larger plant than the species, with bigger leaves and a more erect habit. The soft, scalloped foliage looks good all season, providing a useful foil for flowering plants and looking magical after a shower when it catches twinkling raindrops on its velvety surface. In summer, its airy, lime-green flowers enhance the colour and form of adjacent flowering perennials and make a good filler for vase displays and bouquets. The flowers are attractive to pollinating insects, so it’s a great choice for wildlife-friendly gardens. Height and spread: 50cm (20).
