This traditional English cooking apple was raised around 1857, well over 150 years ago! ?Annie Elizabeth?s fruit is sweeter than the usual cooking apple, with firm flesh and a strong structure that keeps the fruits shape when cooked. Expect heavy yields of the large sized, yellow apple fruits that are ready for harvest in October, which can then be store for well up to 6 months in frost free, dry and cool conditions. Only partially self-fertile, meaning it will need a pollinating partner in order to generate good crops. Pollination group 4. Apple rootstocks: M27 – Extreme dwarf reaching a mature height of up to 1.5m (5′). M9/ Pajam 9/ P9 – Dwarf reaching a mature height of up to 2.5m (8′).
