Apple ‘Sunset’

Apple ‘Sunset,’ which has many similarities to Cox, is an excellent alternative for garden production. The flavor is sharp and intense, and the skins have the same distinctive red-stripes and orange flush as English dessert apples. This variety, on the other hand, is disease resistant and has a compact habit, making it easier to grow and producing far higher yields. In late September, the fruits can be harvested and eaten fresh from the tree, or made into a refreshing juice. Overabundant fruits can be stored until December.
