Aquilegia ‘Crimson Star’ is a hardy and trouble-free plant. It thrives in perennial borders, where it will seed around to surprise you each year, with plants popping up to fill the smallest of gaps. A slew of starry blooms to brighten borders in late spring. This showy columbine is impossible to overlook with its bicolor, red and white flowers. It makes a cheerful cut flower, but leave a few stems for pollinating insects who love its nectar-rich blooms. Height: 90cm (36). Spread: 45cm (18).
