Breakthrough breeding has made the Armeria Dreameria series one of the longest flowering Armerias available. Whilst other Armerias only bloom from mid to late spring, Armeria ‘Dreameria Vivid Dreams’ pumps out blooms continuously from April to the first frosts. The flowers are also larger than average, delivering masses of pompom-like deep purple blooms on slender stems held well above neat cushions of evergreen, grassy foliage. Once established, Armeria ‘Dreameria Vivid Dreams’ is drought tolerant, making it perfect for challenging spots like coastal gardens, rockeries, dry banks or patio containers. It is also useful for softening the hard edges of landscaping by tucking it into crevices in paving and walls or running along the perimeter of a border or pathway. The blooms are highly attractive to bees and other beneficial pollinators making it a good choice for wildlife-friendly gardens.
