This Danish Chokeberry is certainly going to add interest to your garden throughout the year! In April and May Aronia x prunifolia ‘Aron’ produces compact clusters of dainty white flowers with a light perfume, which are followed by deep red berries that remain even once the colourful leaves have fallen. In autumn the deep green foliage turns eye-catching shades of burgundy and purple. Aronia x prunifolia ‘Aron’ has a compact, spreading habit and makes a wonderful specimen for woodland areas and borders as well as wildlife gardens where the winter berries will be appreciated by wild birds visiting your garden. Height: 150cm (59). Spread: 200cm (118). Culinary note: Some parts of these flowers are edible.
