Astilbe Red produces attractive finely cut foliage and vibrant red plumes from early summer. This low maintenance variety is a great choice for a damp, shaded corner that can occasionally become waterlogged. Alternatively, plant by a shaded waters edge or bog garden where its blooms will become a magnet for butterflies. Height: 70cm (28). Spread: 50cm (20). Planting depth: Zone 1 in boggy soil.
