This eye-catching, columnar shrub will fit into even the smallest of borders, adding a bright splash of colour and a strong architectural focal point. In the spring, the foliage of Berberis thunbergii ‘Florence’ covers its upright stems with coral pink and orange leaves. Throughout the summer, the colour deepens before turning red in the autumn. Tiny yellow flowers bloom in late spring and are followed by red berries in late summer. This deciduous shrub, like all Japanese barberry plants, is hardy, dependable, and simple to grow.
