Bergenia cordifolia blooms in early spring with bell-shaped flowers ranging in colour from pale pink to dark rose. This hardy evergreen perennial is a traditional garden favourite. Its large glossy leaves have wavy edges and form neat clumps of foliage in winter, which is often tinged purple. This hardy perennial, also known as Elephant Ears, is low-maintenance and thrives in most garden conditions with little care.
