Bisset’s Bamboo
Bisset’s Bamboo is a green-caned bamboo that is especially useful in the garden. This stately bamboo is especially hardy and wind-resistant, making it an excellent screening plant. The evergreen foliage that cloaks its upright canes keeps its fresh appearance even in the depths of winter. Phyllostachys bissetii forms dense clumps of canes in its early years before spreading to form large stands of canes. A fantastic focal point for the garden that adds a tropical feel to planting schemes. Height: 5m (16′). Spread: 3m (10′).
