This robust shrub makes a wonderful feature on the patio or in acidic borders, boasting a profusion of sweetly fragranced white blooms through April and May and bright, fiery leaves in autumn. Blueberry ‘Patriot’ Is a fairly compact, bushy plant producing consistently high yields and will tolerate cold, wet soils, showing better resistance to root rot than other varieties. The very large, delicious fruits are full of nutrients and antioxidants and can be harvested from mid to late July. A self-fertile variety that will produce better crops if grown with another Blueberry variety to enhance pollination. Perfect for adding to muffins and pies as well as making jam. Height and spread: 120cm-150cm (4 to 5ft). Estimated time to best yields: 28-32 months (16-20 months for 3l potted plant).
