A vigorous midseason variety forming a semi-spreading bush that bears large, light blue fruits with a firm, crisp texture and a good shelf life. Blueberries are full of health-enhancing benefits and are excellent for adding to muffins, pies and making into jams. Ornamental as well as edible, Blueberry ?Megasblue? will produce an abundance of sweetly-fragranced, cream-white blooms in April and May, followed by striking, flame-like autumn foliage. Perfect for growing in acidic borders or large patio pots filled with ericaceous compost. A self-fertile variety that is best grown with another Blueberry where they will pollinate one another to provide maximum yields of fresh, flavoursome berries for weeks. Height: 1.8m (6ft). Spread 1.5m (5ft). Estimated time to best yields: 28-32 months (16-20 months for 3l potted plant).
