Our Onion, Garlic and Shallot Collection contains a versatile selection of white, red and shallot onions along with garlic to keep your cupboards stocked with these easy to grow vegetables throughout next summer and winter. The collection comprises: Onion ‘Electric’ – An overwintering variety producing shiny, red skinned, semi globe-shaped bulbs with crisp, pink-tinged flesh (250g). Onion 'Senshyu' – This reliable main crop produces good yields of semi-flat bulbs with straw yellow skins. (250g). Shallot ‘Longor’ – Highly praised for its robust flavour and good storage potential, and will surely be a winner for the exhibitor too. (400g). Garlic 'Germidour ' – Violet-streaked skin with white cloves and a mild flavour, this softneck variety is easily stored and split for cooking. (2 Bulbs). Why not upgrade your collection to the 1.65kg size which also includes: Garlic 'Elephant' – The cloves are also much larger than conventional garlic with a milder taste, making it suitable for a wide choice of culinary uses, especially roasting. (5 Cloves).
