Cabbage ‘Winter Jewel’
As the name suggests, Cabbage ?Winter Jewel F1? comes into it?s own in winter with it?s impressive hardy character, producing smooth, dark leaved ?greens? that grow up to 30cm, that come together to form the rounded loose heads up to 250g in weight. Much adored for it?s quality, length, flavour and bolt resistant yields, harvesting up until April in 2011 RHS trials. This variety will mature in to greens ready for harvest around 60 days after transplanting, great for storing in most conditions for weeks after.
