Description
Ceratostigma plumbaginoides
This fabulous hardy perennial generates clusters of purple flowers from August to November and is much loved for its colour changing foliage. As Spring ends, you will witness its leaflets turn to a shade of fresh green, later developing to a burnt red by the start of Autumn. A beautiful shrub that requires little maintenance, it would sit well in a cottage or wildlife gardening scheme, as well as creating attractive ground cover in dull landscapes. It will thrive to a height of 30cm, along with a spread of 45cm and it will enjoy direct sunlight to grow.
