Description
Ceratostigma willmottianum ‘Forest Blue’
This well-known deciduous shrub is well-deserving of RHS AGM mark. From August to October, wiry red-tinted stems host a profusion of cobalt-blue flowers. As autumn approaches, the green summer foliage transforms into vivid shades of burnt orange and red, adding a welcome splash of colour to fading borders. Ceratostigma willmottianum ‘Forest Blue’ is a low spreading shrub that should be planted near the front of a sunny border or even against a wall. Height: 100 cm (39). Spread: 150 cm (59).
