This rare heirloom chilli is unbelievably productive, producing masses of bullet-shaped fruit up to 5cm long. Chilli Pepper ‘Sante Fe Grande’ bears fruit that are pale cream when immature, transitioning through yellow and orange shades before maturing to light red. The thick-fleshed fruit can be used like Jalapenos but they have a fruitier taste and a sweet note that nicely balances the pleasant heat.
