Chionochloa flavicans ?Taupo Lights? is an attractive, elegant grass that produces clumps of arching, variegated foliage, providing year round interest in the garden. From July to September, tall, erect stems hold cascading, green, plume-like flowers that mature to cream and measure up to 30cm in length. The flowers will glisten in the sunlight and are great for adding texture, movement and height to the garden. Ideal for sunny borders or cascading over the edge of large containers, as well as making a beautiful addition to indoor vase displays.
