Cornus are famed for their colourful winter stems but Cornus alba ‘Miracle’ goes the extra mile, offering a changing colour spectacle through winter, spring, summer and autumn! Variegated foliage with a cream edge emerges tinted pink in spring, the pink fading as summer progresses to reveal stronger variegation before deepening to reddish-purple tones in autumn. After leaf fall, deep red stems take centre stage, adding further colour throughout winter.Cornus alba ‘Miracle’ adds continuous interest to mixed borders as a single focal specimen as well as making an excellent choice for massed plantings where it can grow into dense thickets. Dogwood is a resilient, trouble-free shrub for a sunny spot. It requires a moist, well-drained soil but can also tolerate consistently damp areas. Ultimate height: 2m (6.5ft). Ultimate spread: 1.5m (4.9ft).
