Cornus sanguinea ‘Winter Flame’ is a great adaptable deciduous shrub with year-round interest. It is a stunning dogwood, grown for its vibrant winter stems. It will truly brighten up the garden during those cold, grey days. It has green foliage all summer and bears tiny white flowers followed by glossy blackberries. By autumn, the foliage has turned a fiery red and has fallen to the ground, revealing spectacular orange, yellow, and red stems. Height: 3m (10′). Spread: 2.5m (8′).
