Corylus avellana ‘Twister’
Corylus avellana ‘Twister’ is a hardy deciduous shrub favoured for its eye-catching twisted stems that are decorated with yellow male catkins in February and March. The mid-green, heart-like toothed leaves measure up to 10cm (4) in length. This slow-growing Corkscrew Hazel has a more compact habit than most Corylus avellana varieties making it suitable for growing in a large patio pot or in a shrub border in sun or semi-shade. Plant in well-drained, fertile soil. Height: 150cm (59). Spread: 150cm (59).
