Crocosmias are an excellent choice for injecting colour into late summer and autumn borders. Crocosmia ?Emberglow? produces small, vivid scarlet blooms which hang gracefully from arching stems, above sword-like foliage. A low maintenance perennial that tolerates heat and drought. Combine with deep purple varieties such as Salvia ?Amistad? or blend with the fiery shades of Heleniums. Perfect for exotic and cottage gardens, as well as making a superb cut flower.
