Dahlia ‘Patio Duo’ features two compact dahlias that are ideal for container growing. Their sunset shades of peach, pink, apricot and yellow offer an invaluable colour palette for the garden – which tends dominate with violets and magentas. These compact varieties may be smaller flowered than other dahlias, but the blooms are produced in great abundance and they blend more easily into the garden landscape than some of the bigger, showier varieties. These jaunty dahlias will re-energise late summer displays, providing prolific blooms from July to the first frosts. Just keep dead-heading and there will be armfuls of blooms to fill indoor vases too. This collarette dahlia features broad, pale peach petals with a deep pink base surrounding a frill of blush-pink mini-petals. Height: 50cm (20in) to 70cm (27in). Spread: 30cm (12in) to 50cm (20in).Dahlia ‘Star Wars’ – Bronze-flushed foliage provides the perfect backdrop to a constellation of starry flowers in glowing shades of peach, pink, apricot and yellow.
