A quintessential cottage garden plant but in a new, modern colour and with better garden performance and winter hardiness than traditional varieties.Dianthus ‘Rockin Red’ is one of the strongest reds we have seen in sweet williams. The vivid flowers top knee-high plants that are perfect for containers or running along the edges of borders and filling gaps. This interspecific hybrid has a longer life than other perennial sweet williams, boasting excellent winter hardiness and multi-year performance. The lacy, lightly fragrant flowers are produced in abundance, attracting beneficial pollinators. Dianthus ‘Rockin Red’ is great for posies and cut flowers too. Height: 50cm (20). Spread: 30cm (12). Premium perennials are large plug tray plants, roughly the same size as garden ready plants like a potted plant without a pot. They will need to be acclimatised to the garden, and once all chance of frost has cleared can be planted out directly into the garden.
