Echinacea purpurea ?Primadonna White? is an improved version of Echinacea which is free-flowering, strongly branching and boasts large flowers. The blooms have creamy-white petals that surround a yellow-green central cone and will flower all summer long on tall, sturdy stems. Echinacea look particularly effective planted in drifts among ornamental grasses and their nectar-rich flowers will attract plenty of butterflies and bees. An excellent choice for coastal gardens and wildlife areas, where the dried flower cones add additional interest in the garden long after the blooms have fade.
