Description
Erigeron karvinskianus
Erigeron karvinskianus is a long-flowering variety which provides excellent groundcover as well as looking very effective in rockeries, border edges and filling wall crevices and pavement cracks. This pretty perennial produces an abundance of small, white daisy flowers from May to October which turn pink as they age with some bearing both colours to create a wonderful two-tone effect. A low maintenance variety which will self-seed to colonise in dry, tricky areas and will attract plenty of pollinating insects. Erigeron karvinskianus also looks very effective cascading from patio pots where it will cope well with little watering. Height: 30cm (12?). Spread: 50cm (20?).
