Fascicularia bicolor in full flower is a sight to behold and one you don?t want to miss out on in your garden. Native of Chile, this wonderful Bromeliad bares silver-green foliage that spreads and is evergreen, forming cute rosettes. Leaves are sharp and have serrated edges, which in late summer will transform in to a striking scarlet colour, accompanied with bright blue, tightly packed blooms. Hardy down to -5C, this clump forming perennial is great for sheltered borders or rockeries. Loves free draining soil too. Bring into shelter over winter when frosts and cold, wet weather is consistent. Height: 45cm (18). Spread: 100cm (39).
