Fennel ‘Fino’ – Organic Seeds
The sweet, aniseed crunch of Organic Florence Fennel ‘Fino’ maintains its tender texture better than other varieties. With good tolerance to hot weather, bulbs will hold in the ground allowing time for harvest before bolting. ‘Fino’ is an early maturing variety, suitable for sowing in spring for harvesting from mid-June. Successive sowings can be made until July for harvesting in the autumn. It produces high quality, flattish bulbs which are well filled. The feathery foliage can also be used as a herb or garnish. Height: 75cm (30in). Spread: 45cm (18”).
