These garlics grow well in UK climates, will store for a long time and give you the opportunity to try different culinary delights straight from your own garden. Duo comprises: Garlic ‘Kingsland Wight’ (Autumn planting, Hardneck) is a perfectly formed, white skinned bulb with pink cloves. One of the ‘Creole’ varieties of garlic, it originates from Spain and is prized for its superior taste. Hardneck varieties of garlic are generally agreed to be more complex in flavour than the softneck varieties commonly found in the supermarket, with each variety having its own unique characteristics. Has good storage life and should keep you cooking with home-grown garlic until the February after harvest. Height: 60cm (24"). Spread: 15cm (6"). Garlic 'Solent Wight' (Spring/Autumn planting, Softneck) is known for its exceptional flavour and bouquet which it retains during cooking.
