An exceptional selection featuring tricoloured foliage and a denser flowering pattern than other Gauras.Gaura lindheimeri ‘Passionate Rainbow’ livens up spring borders with young burgundy foliage that matures to green with a red blush and creamy margins. Dainty, soft pink flowers with darker pink centres are produced freely from early summer to autumn. Unlike the wand-like, floppy stems of other Gauras, ‘Passionate Rainbow’ flowers off shorter stem tips and side-branches, resulting in tighter flowers and a more manageable habit. This pollinator-friendly, drought-tolerant perennial is valued for its long flowering period and airy, informal appearance. It makes a good choice for rockeries and the edges of cottage or prairie-style gardens. Height: 45cm (18in).
