A striking hardy perennial grass which produces tall stems of pink-striped, strappy foliage in spring that will transform to yellow and white as it ages through the season. In summer, the stems of Glyceria maxima var. variegata bear loose panicles of purple-green blooms. Variegated Reed Sweet-grass is a vigorous variety that is ideal for large pond margins and associates beautifully with other marginal plants with broad leaves. Height: 80cm (32). Spread: 100cm (39). Planting depth: Zones 2 & 3 to 25cm (10) below water level.
