Goji Berry ?No.1 Lifeberry? is a vigorous variety favoured by commercial growers in China where the Goji Berry has been revered as a ?Super Food? for centuries. Producing bumper crops of big, glossy, orange-red berries which measure 2cm across and are full of vitamin C and antioxidants. These sweet berries can be enjoyed eaten freshly picked, made into jam or dried like a raisin. Goji Berry ?No.1 Lifeberry? is ornamental as well as edible, forming a showy shrub with arching branches bearing purple flowers in late spring to early summer. Berries follow the flowers and can be harvested in August. Ideal for a large patio pot or open border. Alternatively train against a trellis or sunny wall where it makes harvesting the fruits easier. Height and spread: 2m (6.5ft).
