Popular for the rich tasting fruits it produces, Fig Trees are some what underrated for their ornamental and exotic appeal. Carefully trained, half standard that produces large lobed leaves, are the tip to a very upright stem making for a great focal point. Sweet figs grow from August to September, developing in spring then ready and ripe the following August. Second crops may occur in late summer, if protected. Ideal for tropical or Mediterranean style gardens. Height: 3m (9′). Spread: 2.5m (8′)
