Grow Media Vermiculite Increase seed germination and promote healthy root growth with this Vermiculite from Grow Media! A non-toxic and naturally occuring mineral that soaks up nutrients and water and then releases them back into the soil as your seedling roots need it. This Vermiculite is heat treated and will improve aeration and drainage at the roots, as well as having great insulation properties. Mix into compost and use to cover your seeds during the sowing process as well as when rooting cuttings to enhance root establishment. Vermiculite is also perfect for keeping begonias and dahlia tubers during the colder months.
