This deciduous shrub blooms in a flurry of sulphur yellow blossoms during the cold winter months. Hamamelis intermedia ‘Arnold Promise’ has delightfully scented, hairy blossoms that cling to its leafless stems with tenacity. Witch Hazel’s summer foliage provides a plain backdrop for summer flowering perennials before changing to dramatic tones of blazing orange and scarlet in the fall. This magnificent specimen shrub, which has received an RHS Award of Garden Merit, is great for bringing color and interest to mixed borders and woodland gardens all year.
