Hedera helix ‘Goldchild’
The Hedera Helix Goldchild or Common Ivy is a vigorous evergreen hardy climber which will quickly scramble up walls and fences and is perfect for covering those unsightly areas. This variety of ivy has a neat habit and is a perfect backdrop for perennials and other shrubs in the garden. Provides much needed shelter for birds and other wildlife. This adaptable climber will not require additonal support as its arial roots will readily cling to any surface. The Hedera Helix Goldchild has most attractive foliage with olive lobed leaves edged with gold margins and yellow-green flowers in the autumn. A firm favourite which is equally at home in the sun and partial shade. Can be toxic. Height and spread: 3m (118").
