Hosta ‘June’ lights up shady corners with its stunning, variegated foliage, the leaves looking as though they have been splashed with luminous watercolour washes. The heart-shaped leaves are acid-yellow in the centre, surrounded by variable blue-green margins. Tubular, lavender flowers are carried on tall spikes from mid to late summer. Hosta ‘June’ keeps its tidy form all season and makes a good choice for a patio container.Hostas are one of the best foliage plants for lightly shaded borders, associating beautifully with ferns.
