Hydrangea anomala petiolaris ‘Semiola’

Hydrangea anomala ?Semiola? is an evergreen to semi-evergreen climber that is perfect for a semi-shaded trellis, fence or wall in north or east-facing position. Not as vigorous as the common deciduous climbing hydrangea, ?Semiola? is perfect for small gardens where it will cling using its aerial roots and won’t need tying in. The evergreen leaves will turn copper-coloured in spring and from late spring to early summer, a mass of flat, white, lace-cap type flowers bloom, brightening any shady spot. Great for low maintenance gardens and can also be used as spreading ground cover as well as a climber. Height and spread: 3m (10ft).
