Hydrangea macrophylla ‘Endless Summer – The Original’
The first introduction from the ‘Endless Summer’ collection was Hydrangea macrophylla ‘The Original.’ This ground-breaking variety blossoms in purple-blue or rose pink colours, depending on the soil pH, on both old wood and branches. It produces spectacular autumn colour, as do other macrophylla varieties, as the leaves turn crimson and gold. For a lengthy season of appeal in borders and containers, this plant is ideal. These remarkable reblooming Hydrangeas, which are part of the ‘Endless Summer’ line, are neat and small, flowering continuously from May to September. ‘Endless Summer’ Hydrangeas have a strong growth habit and are disease resistant, especially to mildew.
