incredicoir All-Purpose Compost
Say goodbye to back-breaking bags of bulky compost. Mix this innovative coir block with water to make up the equivalent of a 10 litre bag of peat-free compost, that?s ready to use in just 10 minutes! Peat-free gardening is easy with incredicoir. As a by-product of the coconut industry, it is sustainably sourced and more environmentally friendly than peat moss. Better still, it?s pH neutral, with excellent water retention and superb drainage. These compact blocks are lightweight and easily stacked in the greenhouse, taking up a fraction of the space of a traditional bag of compost. Mixing it couldn?t be simpler: Open the plastic bag and stand it upright in a suitable sized container that will hold water. Add water and leave it to soak. The coir block will absorb the water and gradually start to expand. Add more water if needed to soften up the coir block. After approximately 10 minutes, break compost up to a fine texture with your hands (please see instructions for more specific quantities and timings). Coir itself doesn?t contain many nutrients so we recommend adding a controlled release fertiliser such as incredibloom or incredicrop to create the perfect mix for optimum plant growth. Incredicoir is ideal for a wide range of uses, from sowing seeds to potting up plug plants, or planting up hanging baskets. Use it for repotting houseplants, or even growing container vegetables on the patio. Wherever you use it, you can be sure of great results! Open the plastic bag and stand it upright in a bucket of water, add 4 litres of water and let it soak for 10 minutes, the coir block will absorb the water and gradually start to expand. If needed add up to a further 1 litre of water to soften the block. After the 10 minutes break up the coir by hand to create a fine consistency.
