This stunning Iris produces luxurious, 10cm, violet-black blooms from May until August. They are complimented by dense clumps of slender foliage, are bright green in colour and smooth to touch. Ideal for adding to cottage and water gardens, this hardy perennial enjoys growing in boggy soils, is easy to care for and looks fabulous when planted in clusters! ?Black Gamecock? creates incredible cut flower bouquets and adds great architectural height to lifeless borders, it thrives in partial shade and will develop in height to 90cm, along with a spread of 30cm.
