Iris pseudacorus ‘Variegata’ (Marginal Aquatic)
This variegated variety of our native Yellow Flag Iris, Iris pseudacorus ‘Variegata’, features striking creamy-yellow and green striped foliage in spring. As the season progresses, the variegation softens to green, allowing the plant?s brilliant golden-yellow flowers to take centre stage. Less vigorous than the standard species, this variety is particularly well-suited for ornamental garden ponds and bog gardens, earning it the prestigious RHS Award of Garden Merit (AGM). Height: 100cm (39) Spread: 30cm (12) Planting Depth: Zones 1 & 2, 15cm (6) below water level. Please Note: Plant height and spread can vary with the seasons. As a result, we list by pot size rather than a fixed plant size. The plant’s height and spread upon delivery will depend on the time of year, so the images shown are for reference only.
