Description
Iris setosa ‘Baby Blue’
Iris setosa ‘Baby Blue’, known as the Beachhead Iris makes a lovely display when planted near the edge of a pond. Its blooms are beautifully reflected in still water. It is a hardy perennial that forms a clump of slender leaves that adds a vertical element to alpine planting schemes and rockeries. It can also be dotted across the front of borders. This sweet little iris grows to be only 20 cm (8) tall. Violet veins adorn the lavender-blue petals, which are sprinkled with white in the centre of each bloom. Height: 20cm (8). Spread: 30cm (12).
