Iris versicolor is a marginal aquatic that makes an excellent choice for bog gardens and shallow pond margins. This robust hardy perennial forms dense clumps of slender, strappy foliage that creates good shelter for wildlife. From early summer, the sturdy stems of this Blue Flag are decorated with blue blooms with eye-catching purple-veined falls. Height: 90cm (36). Spread: 30cm (12). Planting depth: Zones 1 & 2 to 15cm (6) below water level.
