Juniperus horizontalis ‘Prince of Wales’
The ‘Prince of Wales’ Juniperus horizontalis is a prostrate Creeping Juniper with a low, flat growth habit. The spreading branches will eventually develop a dense mat of blue-green leaves, which will serve as a great evergreen groundcover. The tops of the branches turn a plummy-burgundy colour in the winter, which contrasts nicely with the other conifers. It is undemanding, like all Junipers, and thrives in a wide range of growing circumstances. Height: 20cm (8). Spread: 2m (6′,5).
