Description
Kalanchoe humilis ‘Desert Surprise’
Kalanchoe humilis ‘Desert Surprise’ will really stand out from the crowd with its tall stems of unique looking sprays of small purple blooms in October. The flowers of this Flaming Katy appear above plump, grey-green, scalloped foliage with burgundy banding. Originating from Madagascar, this Kalanchoe makes an attractive houseplant which is simple to grow and prefers infrequent watering throughout the year and to be kept totally dry in winter. To achieve the most attractive coloured leaves, keep in a bright light position out of direct sunlight. Height: up to 30cm (12in). Spread: 10cm (4in). Please note: Some houseplants are toxic or harmful to pets if ingested. If you believe your pet has consumed a poisonous plant, seek veterinary attention immediately. Take a sample of the plant with you.
